Preserving the Legacy of the Shehu Retreat 2023
What is it? The 3rd annual youth retreat preserving the Legacy of Shehu Uthman Dan Fodio. It was organized by the youth of the jama’at as a “Rites of Passage” to revive and preserve our Islamic traditions as it has been handed down to us from our righteous forefathers going back to the Seal of the Prophets upon him be blessings and peace.
This year’s theme: Illuminating akhuwa by reviving the sunnah
Who is this event for? Young men and women between the ages of 10yrs - 30yrs old
When is the event? December 25 -29, 2023
Where will it be held? Indian Springs, Georgia
Is there a cost? Yes, the registration cost per person and will be used for food and supplies. Registration will close on November 15, 2023. Contact the Youth Majlis if you need assistance with the registration costs.

This year’s event will be held at a large campground in Georgia conducive for an array of indoor classes and outdoor activities. Meals and boarding will be provided but space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Registration

Weekly Dars
A weekly virtual gathering of the jamaat on Thursday evenings to go over a text, get some spiritual energy, split up 1,000 dhikrs of gratitude to Allah ta’ala, recite al-Munaajaat (Divine Intimate Discourse of the Light of the Age, the Reformer of the Religion) and the Ad-Daawaat.

Where will it be held? Atlanta, Georgia
Is there a cost? It is a free event but donations are needed
This year’s event will be held at a large campground in Georgia conducive for an array of indoor classes and outdoor activities. Meals and boarding will be provided but space is limited and pre-registration is required. We have reached maximum capacity and open registration has closed earlier than expected.
